Meet Dr. Monto

Dr. Monto was born and raised in northeastern New Jersey and attended college at Fordham University in New York City where he earned his bachelor's degree in Biology. Dr. Monto then attended the University of Pennsylvania's School of Dental Medicine, graduating with honors in 1992. Upon graduation, Dr. Monto began his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York. As part of his training, Dr. Monto earned a degree in medicine from Columbia University, as well as completing an internship in general surgery. 

Upon completion of his residency in 1999, Dr. Monto stayed on as an attending in the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, as well as an associate clinical professor in Columbia University's School of Dental and Oral Surgery. While maintaining a private practice in New York, Dr. Monto became chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the Department of Dentistry, at Columbia affiliate, Helen Hayes Hospital.

Dr. Monto is committed to providing the highest quality of care possible to the Greater Chicago area. Services are provided at our state of the art facilities in Glenview. In addition, Dr. Monto has participated in the healing of the children Foundation, where he performed cleft lip and palate surgery in Central America. Dr. Monto has been published in the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and has lectured widely on various topics relating to oral surgery. Outside of the profession, Dr. Monto is a patron of the arts, loves being outdoors, and is always up for trying out a new eatery.
